Write poems like pro

How to write poems like pro?

Most people believe that poems are pure literature, a form of writing. They are somewhat right, but there is much more to poems than meets the eye! I see poems as sculptures of literature or as an art form rather than just words.

You see, poems are meant for the benefit of the audience. You write much more than words, you do much more than rhyme or flow. Your reason for writing poetry should be based on your emotional needs and your poems should be full of emotions and feelings!

The real secret to writing poetry like a pro is to write what you feel is right, to write your deepest thoughts full of deep, piercing emotions. Breathe deeply as you type. Feel sensations that you wouldn't normally have, like imagining that you feel like you're floating when you think of the Earth as a huge space station floating around the Sun. You can imagine what real cosmic consciousness is like or what real unity is like.

The main thing here is to write what you feel. Poems are about showing off, letting loose, and poems are definitely about the nature of humanity and our place in the world! You have to put yourself into your poems, imagine living as if you were a statue, and think hard about what it would take to sculpt the real you.

In a literal sense, poems are words, but they are not just writing. Poems are also a form of art, poetry is the art of words. Poems should be written to express themselves.

Poems are not all about rhythm and rhyme because not all poems have to rhyme. But all poems should follow a certain pattern, much like songs written and recorded. Even if the poem does not rhyme, it should repeat the same structure throughout the piece. An example would be this pattern: A-A-B-B-A.

A poem should do more than rhyme. If your poem rhymes, make sure the rhymes make sense (unless your poem is meant to be nonsense, which is the real genre). Poems should not have a random pattern, should be full circle and should not break their pattern or style from one line to the next.

But if you don't aim to be a pro or just want to write poems for fun, there's nothing wrong with being an amateur poet. Ultimately, you should take this article as advice or guidance rather than writing rules. Write how you want to write!
